The Artificial Lift Research & Development Council (ALRDC) exists to share information between and among artificial lift users, suppliers, researchers, and consultants around the world, and to promote appropriate research and development for improved artificial lift business and practice.
To support Artificial Lift Technologies for the Oil and Gas Industry the Artificial Lift R&D Council undertakes and organizes international Workshops and Seminars to educate the industry in Gas-Lift, Gas Well Deliquification, Sucker Rod Pumping, Electrical Submersible Pumping, and Progressing Cavity Pumping.

Conference Mission
The mission of Calgary 2027 is to facilitate the exchange of practical industry knowledge and real operating experience that helps the industry better plan and optimize the entire producing life of a well.
The conference will bring together producers, field operations personnel, engineers, service companies, technology developers, researchers, and educators to examine how artificial lift, compression, automation, diagnostics, AI, and other production technologies fit technically and economically throughout that lifecycle.
The focus should remain on real applications and lessons learned—not product promotion. Successful, partially successful, and unsuccessful applications can all provide valuable technical knowledge when presenters explain what happened, why, and what was learned.
