The next ALRDC Seminar for new Artificial Lift Technology Inventors and new Technology Companies will be held on May 14, 2014 at ConocoPhillips in West Houston. If you are interested in presenting or in attending, please let us know.

An ALRDC Seminar for new Artificial Lift Technology Inventors and New Technology Companies was held in Houston, Texas on May 15, 2013. Ten companies made presentations. There were over 50 attendees.

Horizontal Wells

See information on a new initiative for artificial lift of Horizontal Wells in the Recommended Practices section of this web site. We have formed an Industry Consortium to advance this technology. The first Consortium Meeting wes held in Tulsa, Oklahoma on Aug. 18 2012. The consortium is led by the Univ. of Tulsa. Contact Prof. Cem Sarica at cem-sarica@utulsa.edu for information on how to join the Consortium.

Artificial Selection for Gas Wells

The Committee on Artificial Lift Selection for Gas Wells met on Feb. 23, 2012. The status of the project and current action items can be found by using the "hot link" on the left of this page. There is significant progress on the document, and completed sections can be downloaded and used. We'll meet again the day after the 2013 Gas Well Deliquification Workshop, in Denver, Colorado.
